I haven't heard her solo CD, BUT I know her from her singing on a lot of Incognito CD's. She did a very nice cover of the Jones Girl's "Nights Over Egypt" and lotsa other good stuff. I likes me some Incognito. :D
Has anyone heard the CD by this singer called 'All My Life'? It's just so classy & well-written, produced & sung. Incognito seem to be behind it & I'm not surprised as I've always found their stuff to be very good in a contemporary jazz-funk style similar to Brand New Heavies & Jamiroquai. If you like this type of music you must check out this artist.

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Maysa's been with Incognito an almost all of their albums.
the only exception is "100 degree & rising" from 1995.
(not counting their 1981 debut)
Her self titled debut was released on Blue Thumb records in '95. Good album indeed. Produced by (80's R&B Icon) Barry Eastmond & Ray Hayden
If you like Maysa, you'll also like artists like Bridgette Mcwilliams (that's Bridgette, NOT Paulette), Kyle Jason & Greenique.
Soul music do still exist in this cruel world of Avril's and Eminem's
Pick up the '95 solo CD, Marky. It's titled "Maysa" and I think you'll get into it. "What About Our Love" is on there. 'Sleaze' with minimal touches of hip-hop. Her voice will be all over you :D . This was also remixed and released on it's own.Originally Written by markydefad

Nicky
Hey Nicky - bon giorno! I am glad you have discovered this angel voice. I actually have Maysa's email contact and she is so very nice. She even replied to my emails... (not that I sent her anything offensive and/or too sloppy - just a note to congratulate her on her work).
If you are interested to contact her... lemme know.
