Love this track from Dmitri's "Cocktail Disco" Amazon-U.S. | Amazon-U.K. | Amazon-Germany | Amazon-France, and never knew it from the 70s. Can anyone remember it, or say what year/country/producer it came from? I dig the "More More More" vibe, but there's not a trace of the record on any sources I have.

discostyle.com says:
Private Pink - Little High Things (Original 12" version) 1977 Sometimes I wonder what makes me pick a record that looks like nothing, and in the bargain section of a shop where usually the worst records end. When I heard it wondered how long it stayed there too. With a killer breakbeat intro, "Little High Things" moves on lead by a horn-y lead synth to a vocal climax.

Hey,
I managed to get a copy of this a couple of years ago, one day when I got a pile of records from a used shop here. To be honest, I didn't pay it much attention until I heard it on the Dimitri compilation last year. It's a Canadian record (complete with MAPL/Can-Con symbol) written by Peter Sinclair and produced by the singer-songwriter Terry Jacks. Released 1977 on Goldfish Records. I tend to think of this one as 'hippie disco' :)
Anyway, hope this helps...
