Patti on the tube

Anybody else see Charlie Rose's interview with Patti Austin on 60 Minutes II last night (Wednesday, January 15th)? One point that they brought up was that Patti was scheduled to be on United Flight 93 on Sept. 11th! Thank goodness she had a change of plans. That would have been a loss of the magnitude of Phyllis Hyman and Minnie Riperton (IMHO)! Patti commented, ìIt was very heavy for me to, to duck that bullet because it just made me feel that there's, there's, there's some stuff I'm supposed to continue with here. There's some singing I'm supposed to continue doing.î
