Only thing that comes to mind is black cat by Janet Jackson. but that's not really disco at all. Rather it's the worst song she ever made :(

If you listen carefully right at the end of Linda Clifford's wonderful Runaway Love, you can hear a dog howling as Ms Clifford says "And Take That Dog With You!"

    Brilliant!

    - Dan-I "Monkey chop"
    - Creme d'Cocoa "Doin' the dog"
    - Talk Talk "It's a shame" with elephant barritos in it

..and the worst disco song of all the time:

DISCO DUCK by RICK DEES and his cast of IDIOTS!

let me think a little more... :)

    no no no ! !

You guys didn't get it, you have to guess animals featured within a disco song, not the title itself !! Otherwise, I'd have tons of titles to provide. B-)

    But seriously:
Johnny Guitar Watson - Tarzan (jungle sounds with birds intro)
Salsoul - Salsoul 3001 (birds or monkeys in the intro, hard to tell)
Tom Browne - Fungi Mama (Rooster in intro)
World Premiere - Share the night (parrots or other birds in intro)
Gap Band - Early in the morning (rooster in intro)
Peter Brown -They only come out at night (crickets in intro)
Wham - Cub tropicana (crickets and birds in intro )
The Time - Jungle love (monkeys in intro)

Maybe not all disco but all from my "dance to this" section.

World premiere - Share the night
How glad I am that somebody remembers that song.
truly one of the masterpieces of the early 80's

I only own that 12" with 3 mixes. Did they ever make anything else???

The Vladimir Cosma soundtrack for the 1977 French film "L'Animal" was about a stuntman involved in an elaborate heist scheme. The wholesome comedy adventure starred Jean Paul Belmondo and Raquel Welch. I doubt it however that it was La Welch who performed a kind of Love To Love You Animal on the "disco version" of the main title theme, heard on the album only, not on the actual soundtrack on the film. Could this be the only example of it's type in recorded history? - I'm deeply sorry I brought this up but as Millie Jackson put it Dammit I Had To Say It!

Indeed a masterpiece, glad to see i'm not the only one who likes this..

There is another title "Try" but on another label and this one i've never come across here in Holland, maybe it's even not the same World Premiere, even though Gemm lists this as being the same.
