Yep, totally unknown to me, sounds like early Daft Punk! I wonder if the French duo has heard this one

And a recent one that I dig very much is the official remicks that Belgian band Soulwax has made for the forthcoming Rolling Stones doc by Martin Scorsese.

    Love to dance to this..
I booked Claudja at this gay club in Tampa called BVD's
in about 1989 or so. The clubs were playing Down and Counting at the time.. But when she did "WORK ME OVER"..they went wild.. (Funny story..Claudja is a large woman..She's not fat ... She's big boned and tall. about 6'1..and everytime she flew in florida the flight attendants would always call her Ms Arieagus.. There was a very famous female impersonator whom presented herself as a woman 24/7 that lived in ft lauderdale named Tiffany Arieagus she flew all the time and they favored each other.. Claudja would get a bit upset.but we laughed about it anyway.

These days, it's IN THE MORNING by Miss Carol Douglas (1976).

    The dance floor is burning!

Now it's time for me to interfere.

My choice is a bit "off era", off mood and not "Disco" style but,

    Damn, this song really rocks!
"Exposé - Come Go With Me"

The song plays at 49'55" of this mix

    PLAY LOUD

    Dayna--finally--someone talking about actually dancing.

    : )

    1. Stomp - Brothers Johnson
    2. Brick House - Commodores
    3. Don't Stop Til You Get Enough - Michael Jackson
    4. I'm Your Boogie Man - KC & SSB
    5. Go-Gos medley

I promise not to get over analytical. But I'm surprised at how many disco songs I love to listen to, but that are awkward to
dance to (Come To Me, Dancer, Here Comes That Sound Again.) Is it the BPM? For dancing, I either prefer slower, ass-grinding funk. Or uptempo new wave. And isn't it fun when you hear some rock-n-roll mixed in every now and then?

I'm lucky to have a club here in town that plays all of these, and much more, every Sunday afternoon. Thank God for retro disco t-dances.
