    Track ID: Rub'N'Tug edit

    Hi,

I recently heard an rub'n'tug bootleg reedit of a slow boogie tune with
the lyrics "it's five o'clock in the morning the city is awake".
I would love to know the titel of the original they used.
You can hear a short sample of that song here:

    thanks in advance!

    and it is by .....

    THE VILLAGE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FROM 1981 LP "RENAISSANCE"....I HEARD ON A SAINT PARTY THAT WAS ONLINE AND TRACKED IT FROM THAT.....
    "Lost inside adorable illusion...."

I would have never thought this could be the village boys!

Rub'n'tug did a very good job editing out the cheesy parts.

    Thanks for the help!
