I wanted to mention the passing of drummer Buddy Miles, best known as part of Jimi Hendrix's band...but who made a great "morning/sleaze" record from 1974..."PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER".. ..available on the CBS 2 record/ 1 cd set [warning: the cd shaves some time off some of the tracks, however]

Here's a link to the Idolator obituary:
Obituaries: Buddy Miles, R.I.P.
"....he scored a slightly ignoble and completely unexpected pop cultural breakthrough in 1986 thanks to his voice being used for a certain group of clay raisins with a love of old Motown tunes." [was the voice of the raisin who sang "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" in the cereal commercial!!!]

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Yep, RIP Buddy and let's not forget...
his 1973 "Booger Bear" track
And the Buddy Miles Experience (here used for Pan's People performance) :
Funk to da maxx!
wow that sucks! I've been playing one of his tracks "Them Changes"
a bonified funk/rock track.... a serious jam. R.I.P.
That's too bad. I never really followed his music, but I did like some of the Band of Gypsies tracks he did with Hendrix. And I liked Bernard Purdie's cover of Them Changes. RIP.
