This was in our newspaper 2day and it was a completely new phenomena to me. Seems that it's started by a Philadelphian woman who was tired of looking for babysitters and at the same time was missing her Disco crazy years (don't we all?). So she came up with: Baby Loves Disco!
The concept: take the kiddies to a ballroom and let them go funky on good ol' Disco. They love the music, the lights and especially the bubble machines (Don't we all?)
baby loves disco
Great! BTW, it's starting in Europe as well now!

It's goin' global! Disco is Back! These are the future members and memberettes of Discomusic.com :icon_idea:
I noticed this the other day, looks great!
I play disco music in my car when I'm picking up my 2 year old daughter from nursery, I'm trying to get her to love disco just like her daddy does! She does seem to enjoy it but at the moment still prefers nursery rhymes and the Teletubbies TV theme.
(I can't play disco music when my wife is in the car as well - she doesn't like it.) :icon_surprised:

Must be plenty of other things in common there to level it all out. More important things !........................( more important than disco !!!! ???
)
I guess I'd be even more more more amazed if it weren't for the fact that I feel yours and Darrens situation ...... My own partner of twenty five years .............. doesn't much like disco either . :icon_eek: :icon_cry::icon_cry::icon_cry:. Let's put it this way ...when I'm not in the car too ..you know there ain't no disco playing ....
It's not an age thing either ... he's 1.6 years younger than I am but was just never a clubber ..... never got into the scene ....
My musical tastes go far and wide so there's plenty we share ..... so I rarely force him to endure the really good stuff....
Isn't disco interesting ....it's rare to educate someone into liking it ... in fact most people seem hell bent on resisting it ...
Its just something a person has to feel from within ....
as The Trammps say in DISCO INFERNO :
"its coming from the soul" .....
