Hello everybody.
There's song, for which I don't have a lot of info, but it has quite big importance for my personal memories, so I'm seeking it year by year. Below I give you all info for it that I have.
It was (back to 1989 or 1990) a cassete compilation (maybe bootleg). 1st song was chris reas popular song of these times, I don't remember name, but easily identifiable for it's piano chords - I'm not seeking for it anyways.
2nd track was Kaoma - Lambada
3rd track was Black - Wonderful life.
And if you turn cassete around, just when Kaoma finishes, there was that song I'm seeking, on side B.
Side A was ending with Sade - smooth operator
So, now about song I'm seeking. Voice was female, quite high pitched, but not so R'n'B as Donna summer or Janet Jackson. more similar to Lala - Johny. And overal song style was more zanetti-style.
I remember only fragments from it's lyrics. and since I was not english speaking at that time, they may quite errorneus and sound absourd, but this is all I remember.
Female voice:
"in the heat (mid) of the night, I was thinking of you, when the moon shining bright"
(here more lyrics I don't remember)
chorus (female):
oh oh oh I'm lilmuch can't you see, I'm lilmuch getting loving with me
then again female lyrics, but next comes different chorus
he so strong, she so sweet (male voice)
many whispers come with mee (female voice)
and then again - oh oh oh chorus.
I can play chorus melody on midi keyboard, "oh oh oh" melody is quite similar to ABBA - gimme gimme gimee verse.
Thanks in advance.
Doesn't ring a bell, but from the other tracks on your tape, it seems like it'd most probably be a very well-known (thus easy to find) song. Try posting your keyboard rendition (maybe singing along): that might be enough to figure it out...
...Boogie Boogie Boogie Boogaaaaaay.....
