I hate to answer a question with a question but I am looking for a song with the same lyrics either they are: "...You don't know what you mean to me, you mean to me" or You just don't know what you mean to me, you mean to me..."
All I know is the "breaking" goes "You don't know, you don't know, you don't, you don't know"

This is a disco/club song sung by a FEMALE the breaking part is sung also by female singers!

The lead female is basically a powerhouse/gospel singer type of the Loleatta Holloway ilk just a tad bit earthier huskier tone.

NO You Tube video, NO song title recognition, NO Google clues, NO NOTHING!!!!

It's as if the song never happened as far as an internet search goes!

OK the lyrics don't exactly fit, but it sounds a bit like Phyllis Hyman's "You Know How To Love Me" I'm not that convinced it's the tune you're looking for but - you never know.

But the song I am speaking about is not phyllis Hyman's!
I know her voice very distinctive one!
But that song is very easy to find in an internet search where this one as I mentioned is just not coming up I get some Lulluby recording some person made for their son or daughter needless to say this song is not a lulluby LOL. But thank you nice to know someone read my query:icon_biggrin:

When you say 'disco', do you mean classic stuff from the 1970s? Some people call 80s and 90s dance 'disco' as well. Maybe a description on the arrangement, like if it had a lot of strings? Did it musically sound like any other song you've heard before, besides the vocals sounding like Loleatta Holloway?
