Any suggestions? please??? :icon_confused:
Dear All,
Could you please help to recognise the exact name of the song from 80-s and the performer (man).
I guess, that song name is "Carillon", but not quite sure...
I've checked a lot of songs with such name, but couldn't find...
The lyrics is:
carillon, io vado via
voglio andare per le strade....

Many thanks in advance!!!
Any suggestions? please??? :icon_confused:
This song has never been famous in Italy and it will be hard for you to find the title and the singer.
The voice is vaguely similar to Umberto Balsamo, who was successful around 1976-1980 (Angelo azzurro; Balla; ...).
His later songs are unsuccessful and nobody know them.
I can see that in his 1992 album there the title of a song that is "Il mare dentro". There is a small probability it is just that song.

I could not find any sample or preview of this song.
You can listen to other samples by Balsamo in this web store:
Disco - IBS -Umberto Balsamo - Le pi belle canzoni
You can find the rare 1992 album for sale on ebay.it: just search for the title of the album: "un pugno nella notte". You might ask the vendors if your sample is just a song from that album.
"Il mare dentro" means "the sea inside". This is the only words from the lyrics you posted, that I can find as a title song from the lyrics you posted. However, the real text in the song is not that, but there are those words mixed in a different way, in such a context that the title might be a short summary of the meaning of the song (but very vaguely). For example: "I want to go in the roads that do not lead to tomorrow", "some dream to throw into the sea", "I want to go away"... All referred to a woman. The word "carrillon" seems to be out of topic.
By the way, I wonder how you were able to know the whole lyrics but not the title of the song!
You can find most information about balsamo here:
UMBERTO BALSAMO
Another song that seemed to be like that one, is "In fondo al mare" by Cristina Dona' (the title reports an exact sentence that is in the lyrics you posted), but she is a female, and finally I found the lyricvs of this song and it is different (so, it is not that one).

Dear Fabrcop,
Thanks again for your kind help. I will try to search in the direction you advised...
As to your question, I've got the lyrics from one charming Russian lady, who managed to analyse the song and to get the exact wording out.
The song itself we've got from some compilation "Italian hits of 80-s". Some tracks we've manage to discover (Rosanna Fratello - Smania, for example), but not this one unfortunately.
Thank you again!
Warm regards
Vladimir
