Hi Boogie People,
Just wondering if people would like to describe their best and most lengthy stints on the dancefloor. How long have you danced to the music without leaving the floor? Who was Djing? What were they playing? What sort of emotions were you taken through and what role did the dancing play in all of this?
Yours in eternal boogie oogie,
The Boogie Doctor

mmmmmmmmm i think last week!!!!!:icon_rolleyes:
ballroom opened at 12:30 and we got in as soon as opened..... aw! all great disco tracks! cause the djs were preparing it for Al Kent presenting the Million Dollar Disco!!!! OMG!!! i said in another thread that i have been in a "revival" disco session? then what i've lived till that day was NOTHING compared to this!!!!! all rare disco songs but with a nice disco FEELING!!!!
They began with one of my T-Connection favourites and classics "do what you wanna do" (man! how many times i dreamed about being on a dancefloor while this song was playing!!!!!!) and other great tunes.... and then was the turn for Al Kent who began with "Disco Beat" by J.D.V. And Friends OH OH OH!!!! i can't remember more cause i didn't know many of them!!!! but if this was the first one you can imagine!!! for me the Highlight was when i was thinking about a song and sayin to myself i would love him to play it! and EXACTLY at that moment Candido congas began for the song THOUSAND FINGERS MAN!!!! i love that song to death!
other tracks played was "How can i tell her" by Curtis and then they left a little break to play some funk like "The Bottel" by Gil Scott Heron (hahahaha! normally its all the opposite way!).
Then Al was back to play few more disco tracks and they turned the lights on. We didn't stopped till there was no music!!!! :icon_twisted:
i guess it was 5:30 or 6 in the morning.
i took a rest during one second at the end of it to take a breath! but was next to the stage, i don't even left the dancefloor! a real Disco Marathon!:icon_lol:
