German yes, Silverconvetionesque, not so much. The Silver girls were an actual disco troupe with full 12" mixes, whereas A La Carte were more like the Luv girls from Holland, meaning a cheesy pop act aimed at the sales charts rather than serious dance floors. They had several more or less wonderful 3-minute radio hits like "Doctor Doctor" (1979, definitely wonderful, to most their finest achievement), "When The Boys Come Home" and "Ring Me Honey".
