    Pavillion tape 5 side A & B

This is the last one in the series. There are two intrumentals
which I will post clips later at my home page. Here are the 5
    songs transcribed that need indentifing.
1: male vocalist female backup possible title:"You're The Sweetest" (not Luther Vandross) or "Just Us" might be by Anthony Moore but I have'nt been able to dowload it.
    Lryics:
ah yea, loving, tender, sweetest I remember
feeling the fire in your heart
    say we'll last forever
    now pull together
oh yea I can squeeze, squeeze it
oh yea I can feel it deepen
    soothing soothing
    Chorus:
    no-one has been ever sweeter
caught in a trance now deeper, deeper
high as a rainbow ever you will be (can't make out the word)
just us just us just us

    2. female vocalist lots of string orchestration and harp
    basically instrumental with these lyrics
    Lyrics:
you sexy thing you turn me on
keep rocking steady all night long (phrase is repeated 5X
    then intrumental
give me give me what I want
give me give me what you got (2x)
    instrumental
    repeat of you sexy thing

    3. male vocalist possible title "Lay It Down On Me" might be Gerald Mallory (haven't been able to download that)
    Lyrics:
my love's on fire I can feel it burning
desire for your love has lifted me up so high
you got me floating girl on the wings of love
I need you to help me through the night
don't keep me waiting for your love
    Chorus:
yea lay it down on me give me your love
lay it down on me give me your love baby

    4. male vocalist possible title "Feel It, Don't Fight It"
    Lyrics:
    feel it don't fight it
you know love is just a feeling away
and when you feel it oooo baby it's enough to take my
    breathe away
    feel it don't fight it
don't fight it even if you've been a naughty boy
    you can't deny it
no baby I know love is what you're looking for

    5. male vocalist possible title "The Magic Is Gonna Start"
    Lyrics:
we're at the beginning of another day
    inhabitions start to slip away
we'll find a nic place to dine
get out the candle light and the music and the wine
    we're gonna do just fine
let the music do a dance
and give us two a chance
cause in awhile all the magic is gonna start
we're getting to the good part

any help identifing these songs is greatly appreciated

The first song sounds like "Just Us" by Two Tons of Fun.

The second song is "Quiet Village" by The Ritchie Family.

    Yetta,

I'm not at home, so I can't listen...but Herbie Hancock had a terrrific song titled "Getting To The Good Part" (but I think it might have had a vocoder in it). I'll try to remember to pull that when I get home. It was in the morning music vein, I think. Haven't listened for a long time.

Yep, I just checked allmusic and "Gettin' To The Good Part" was on the "Double Rainbow" LP from 1982. It says it had a vocoder lead vocal by Hancock and was in the sleek Steely Dan "Gaucho" vein, produced by Jay Graydon.

    thanks Mark,
that leaves only two unsolved songs for the whole set of five. One is an instrumental and the other one is the one in this post I think is called "Lay It Down On Me " I'll be posted them soon on my home page as soon as I can get my friend to change the files.
