    Sad News

They say none of us are getting off this rock alive. Nevertheless it is sad that Maurice Gibb, one of the icons of the disco era, has died  Here is a link to the story.

I found out about 30 minutes ago that Maurice died. I'm saddened too    , he was too young to die. Fate can be so cruel  .

this is a shock to read this as yesterday his brother robin said a few words before he left for the airport he was smiling away and really didnt look worried at all.
im not a bee gees fan at all and have always had a problem with them being classed as disco as for me they never were and never will be,the bee gees to me are a pop group that have just seemed to be around all my life.my thoughts go out to his family and ex wife lulu who must all be devastated.

Like DiscoDisk, I went to bad last night thinking, ok, he's in the hospital but they don't seem to worried. Then this morning...

Sad story. At least he and the Bee Gees got the recognition they had hoped for from the industry BEFORE his passing. I saw in an interview where he was very pleased with that fact.

I saw the report on the 10' O clock news and I felt awful. :( Maurice was too young, only 53 years old :o I heard about his sickness the other day and it said that he had an internal blockage and a heart attack. His condition didn't sound good to me even though the doctors said he will be alright - but I remained positive that he will be out of the hospital in a matter of time.

We have lost a disco legend :(
    R.I.P Maurice
