Will Chic Be Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

Artists who didn't make the cut this year were first time nominees Afrika Bambaataa, the Beastie Boys, and Donna Summer. Chic has been nominated four times without induction.
Long time eligible artists, but first time nominees, Leonard Cohen (eligible since 1993) and The Ventures (since 1985) were eagerly inducted once the voters had the chance to honor them.
The Rock Hall voters were not as quick to induct Chic and Donna Summer, two artists with major disco credentials,

Isn't it about time that the Dance Music Hall Of Fame is properly revived and at the same time we can say to the Rockers: UP YOURS! BTW, who the hell are The Ventures? Maybe all great talents but bigger than Chic??????

There are a lot of videos from The Ventures on youtube. They were very popular in their day.

CHIC certainly influenced a lot of artist.
Who votes and why have they not been recognized, kind of makes a mockery of the whole thing! I dont understand it.

Just noticed that my post can be misread. Bernie is a voting member for the Dance Music Hall Of Fame, not for the Rock & Roll Hall!
