One of my favorite disco/dance/soul artists from the 1980's was Stacey Lattisaw. Her first hit was "Jump To The Beat" in 1980 with her last major hit "I Don't Have The Heart" in 1989. I've often wondered what happenned to her and wondered if anyone on the board had any current info on her? I understand she retired from music circa early 90's to raise a family, but curious what she's been up to of late and if she's ever considered making a comeback?

Why is it that so many former performers seem to find god when their careers reach a certain point or they are no longer producing hits? I don't really understand this. Its like when I was recently watching the reality show "The Salt n' Pepa Show" about 80's rapper group Salt n' Pepa and Salt dropped out of the group at the height of their fame to find herself and eventually find god. So many artists who have done this seem to think that now their found 'god' they can't perform their old songs as its against what 'god' wants them to do. I don't condemn someone if this is what is needed in their life but I don't understand this need.
