For the life of me I can't remember the title of this 11 or 12 min medley of all the greatest R&B and Disco Slow Jams that ended with Kiss And Say Goodbye!
I believe it was a cover band doing Chi-lites to the Floaters to the Manhattans but what was the title???
Any ideas out there??

WOW!! :icon_biggrin:Thank you!!:icon_biggrin: You know it's an itch in the back of your head that just won't go away. Thank you. That is exactly it. I had this and to show me the label YES That's It!! Sorry I am shouting but I have been laughing for 5 min, before replying, This one has been bugging me for a while.
I used to use it as my end of the night bathroom break song or to give me a chance to make a move on a hottie. Then for a good half hour encore and good night folks.
You made my night.
Not a bad track for a cover. I remember now I had a great re-mix of Kiss & Say Goodbye that ended bigger and was a great cap to the night and I would mix it in. Ahh I miss those days. Naa, lets be real, I miss the girls.

Hey again RD ,
Glad i could help you out ;)
Wow , that must indeed have been quite a quest for you to find it.
What's funny also , is that i tried to find a sample of it on Youtube or the like.
I bumped into another track by them , which they performed at a tv-show.
You'll imediately hear what the influence was for the track , lol.
I have a strong feeling that the singer which you see in that clip is Steve Clisby , who used to be the main-brain of the band "American Gypsy".
Not shure if you're familiar with them , but here are some tracks :
70's mellow-groove : "Lady Eleanor" ( kinda/sorta Gil Scott-Heron/Sly Stone (imo) ) :
( There used to be another great 70's track from them on Youtube ,
titled "Angel Eyes" ... a personal fave of mine )
.................................................
their disco-era :
YouTube - AMERICAN GYPSY - I'm Ok, You're Ok ©1979
( i attached the url here above because i'm not shure if the clip plays on other members' pc's ...
is it a technical thing why that happens ? ... because the clip is still on YouTube ,
while the attached clip below mentions that it is "no longer available")
.............................................
80's synthfunk-track : "The Champ" from 1983/1984 :
