"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Hi! "Crying At The Discotheque" is a real
massive Clubhit all over Europe since months.
I have an 12" on Vinyl with 4 mixed versions.
Another massive club-disco-house-track is
from MILK & SUGAR Vs.JOHN PAUL YOUNG feat.
JACK FLASH"Love Is In The Air", which is
really lovely remixed, and especially with
deep respect to disco. But only the MILK &
SUGAR VOCAS IS IN THE AIR MIX is something
for DiscoFreax.
Love & Cosmic Kisses From SIRIUS & DARKTUNES
I didn't think much of Love Is In The Air, it's on HedKandi's Disco Kandi 5, which I thought was a bit of a dissappointment after number 3 and 4 which I still play to death.
I just bought the Italian import 20 song non stop CD "Bucatin Disco Dance Compilation", after reading praise for Alcazar "Crying at the Discotheque" and I love it too! But it is only 3:10 long on this. Is it on a complete Alcazar CD? I love the Hed Kandi Disco Candy 4 2 disc set too.
A few more bits and pieces on Alcazar:
The singer Andreas Lundstedt is an old (mid-90s) find by Alexander Bard who was also behind Army of Lovers in the early to mid 90s. Bard is also very much involved in the production of Alcazar. He even is in one of their videos, standing behind a camera.
Andreas has been in the Swedish heats of the Eurovision Song Contest (where ABBA took part in 1973-74) twice, but not won. He has a boyfriend who is one of the bigger Swedish singing stars.
The Alcazar album has been released in Sweden at least three times in different versions. It's not until now that it has gained some attention here.
