    Bob Relf RIP

Bob Relf, of the duo Bob & Earl has passed away. I understand he'd been ill some time.

Bob recorded with Doo Wop group The Laurels and then some great Soul dancers in the 60's, both with Jackie as Bob & Earl (Earl was Jackie Lee and later recorded as Jay Dee the album Come On In Love with 'Strange Funky Games And Things') and solo, including the Northern Soul favourites on Mirwood records My Little Girl and I Can't Get Away (as Bobby Garrett) and on Trans American the great double sider Blowing My Mind to Pieces/ Girl You're My Kind Of Wonderful under the name Bob Relf. Blowing My Mind To Pieces fills dancefloors in the UK to this day.

    RIP, Bob.
