Bump. I see that 21 people have listened to the file. I gather this must be an obsure song. Does anyone have any suggestions at all. Does the style or production remind you of anyone that might give me a clue as to where to find out who this is?
Trying to id an instrumental done at the Saint in 1988 based on Debussy's Prelude A L'Apres-Midi D'Un Faune can anyone name the artist and song title please. here's a link to a sample of the song. The DJ was Michael Fierman and it was the last Saturday that the Saint was open. Thanks.

Is it Deodato's version? I'm not sure if I have this one or not...
Graham,
Thanks do you know if it's named the same as the original (Prelude A L'Apres-Midi D'un Faune) or did Deodato rename it something else? Also did you know what album it's from?

Deodato Album:Prelude
Prelude To The Afternoon Of A Faun
But I think it's not the same one.
Walter Murphy Album: Discosymphony
Afternoon Of A Faun
