Talking Belgian National Anthem > jUmPsTyLe!

Our country may be falling apart but we Belgians don't forget how to D.A.N.C.E.!

This is our national anthem "La Brabançonne" in JUMPSTYLE :icon_exclaim:

I really enjoy bands like Milk Inc, Jessy, and Sylver (Regi Penxten productions, good modern Nrg and pop, and very cute girl singers too, though not the best vocals).

Also Lasgo, and Ian Van Dahl are very good. Castles in the sky heh heh heh. Evy from Lasgo I think has good voice, and good looks to go with it

I heard Milk Inc is very big among young people in Belgium.

Yes, Milk Inc is the biggest Dance act in Belgium right now. Regi and Linda continue to score hit after hit. You can see Regi in the Aaaaanthem thread.

Strangely, Ian Van Dahl is not so popular here. Peter, their producer has now released a new single with Barbara Tucker.

Now, one of these days I will open a thread on "Jump" music, a Belgian style that is currently conquering the whole of Europe.

it's pretty impressive, those albums that Regi produces they have a lot of solid dance songs on them, and some good ballads too without much filler. Some solid lyrics too, especially for Eurodance

Belgium had some good dance in 90's too like Technotronic and AB Logic, two great Euro-House acts with famous commercial hits even here in US

but what I love the most is 80's stuff, so Muriel Dacq for me is the best (her song Tropiqe is great, and I have 1 or 2 others). I though she was French at first, but looks like she's Belgian :icon_cool:
