For those interested, Aïcha kindly answered my pleas. I added the tracks below in red

-the 2nd track in the mix? (right
before Martin Circus: "J'en perds mes baskets"...)
1/ Irvin et Indira "amour disco"

-the track between Dalida: "L'Americana" & Alain Chamfort: "Manureva". It sounds like the title could be "Basket Star".
    2/ pied d'acier "basket star"

-the track right after Alain Chamfort: "Manureva"?
    3/ Babette "discotheque"

    Thanks in advance

That's funny: we were discussing this with a group of friends a few days ago.
I never realized one aspect of my favorite songs, something I usually take for granted: understanding the lyrics!! All the music I like & listen to is in languages I understand: English, French, Spanish, or Italian. I studied German for 3 years but didn't really learn much of it, so my experience with German tracks pretty much ends with "Din Daa Daa", "Der Komissar" & "99 Luftballons"... I tend to normally not bother, or be less patient with songs in other languages, simply because they mean nothing to me, literally!
Which says alot about the instrumental (or melodic) power of Anglo-American music, bought, listened to, and hummed to all over the world, by masses of people, among which many don't understand a word of it!!!

OMG, LIO :icon_lol: , great Belgian-Portuguese girl! I went out with her once, great fun, lots of laughs (her real name is Vanda BTW) Still a classic, has that typical Jacno (French producer) sound. Her other hits were produced by the guys from Telex.

You went out with LIO?! Mon dieu, she was/is? hot!

Well, while hanging out in Ibiza as a 16 yrs old guy I met this (then) young singer, and continued to see her for some time after:

YouTube - MEIJU KOPIO PURE MUA

Meiju gave up dj-ing and clubbing during the early 80's, decided she was a recording artits and started belting out covers of Italo tracks. The woman is still around and has mellowed into a very popular schlager star here. Little trace of the good times remain.

Ok - sorry for this vain intrusion, back to the Frenchies. Isabelle Adjani did disco, "Le Bonheur C'est Malheureux" , and imo it's great.

Yes, Jussi, went out, nothing more :icon_lol:

BTW, here's Elli & Jacno: Main Dans La Main, this was a big hit over here in 1980:

Elli & Jacno? I love that typical early '80s sound! I don't think I'd ever heard of that combination. I remember Jacno writing for others and having his own tracks, and Elli Medeiros' "Toi mon toit", but I was never aware they had so many songs, if any, as a group. Looks like another record hunt for Chris!...
