Hi everyone, how was your new year.
Well it's not unusual for a new year to be a time for partying hard and an excuse to get pissed under the beer tap. For me it was quiet as I'm not a party-goer, and I just watched a few fireworks going off from my back yard and hearing the dogs barking from the fireworks (poor dogs) and watched a bit of the Sydney harbour fireworks on TV. My brother Jade was partying hard out somewhere and probably got pissed under the beer tap and my other brother Kenny was at his mate's house as usual.
Oh year, Zeca mentioned new year's resolutions. Well for me I will:
1 - stop bagging out Slim Dusty, he needs a fair crack of the whip :lol: :lol: :lol:
2 - go on a diet too as I'm getting a beer gut except it's from food not beer
3 - recover long lost 70's episodes of my favourite Australian pop show "Countdown"
4 - buy a Billy Bass and stick it on the front door of the house :lol: :lol: :lol:
5 - chuck out my smelly old Adidas bag and get a new one
6 - party hard for 2004

Myself, I went into the city new years eve and spent the evening at the Queens Arms Hotel (a local gay pub). A good night - it was packed. Weather could have been better though...it was cool with some heavy showers that night.
BTW, regarding old episodes of countdown, last weekend on ABC-TV, they had several episodes on Rage.

Hi Discohunter. I already know the Countdown season is on every January and am taping them but thanks for the tip off anyway. I've taped all the seasons from 1999 onwards and have gotten copies of many episodes from pre-1999 seasons. I'm CERTAINLY looking forward to this weekend's lineup of Countdown, they are playing another Top 100 of 1976 episode dated 9/1/77 :D :D :D .

Hi Funky Dude
My New Year was okay just like any other day. On New Year's Eve, I worked half day and went home to rest since I was going out later that evening. My job is nearby the Times Square 42st area (where the ball drops) and it was terribly crowded at 5:00!. Now I see why I never had the urge to go to 42st - too many people! But it was very nice and unseasonable that night 52 degrees. The party was boring and damn near empty so I just went back home. :)

Hi all and a happy new year !
I made two CDs mixes 70-80s and I went in a party.
Some people asked me many times to have a copy of that cd's!!!! They were caught up by that music!!!
Wonderful night, we were dancing up to 3:45 a.m.
Then the people went to sleep... :cry:
