    5 tracks to id (not so difficult)-samples

    Hi everybody!
    I need help in identifing these 5 tracks...they're a bit edited.
    The first one is Esther Phillips??

    Thanks Jumasan...but you're wrong... s02 is not the Brothers Johnson track you mentioned...

    Maybe you meant another Brothers Johnson track?

    Somenone else for the remaining samples?

    I have #3 on a very nicely labeled 45 - it's 'Bahia' by someone..I'll find it and let you know. I don't remember it sounding that good !:icon_biggrin:

    I found it....thats the one Pulse !

    I got it wrong.. it's actually 'Baia' on the amazon label from 1976 and it incorporates 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' in there too.
    I do think that sample is the best bit though !

    I think the album is called Bahia
    And the 7"/ 12" is called Baia

    Ps. there is no track named Bahia/Baia on the album:

    hmmm.....I could never figure that one out...when it charted briefly (8/28/76)...I typed it as such:

    26) * BAIA or BAHIA (?) - Alice Street Gang
    (Amazon 7" --Gemm lists both titles (?)) (11 points/ B)
    1 week on the chart/ *DEBUT
    "Lost inside adorable illusion...."
