why so negative my Danish friend
I love Me & My, cute Danish girls writing cute disco pop, dub i dub heh heh heh
Or Barcode Brothers - SMS, Slave, good stuff
and I think Infernal is one of the best modern disco groups out there today
Now how about 80's?
Laban - love these guys, Love in Siberia, mega 80's classic! :icon_surprised:
Danielle Deneuve - so underrated, great singer
YouTube - Gim-Mix & Danielle Deneuve - Le Parisien (Italo Disco 1983).
YouTube - Danielle Deneuve - The Rising Sun
and Laid Back, ride the white horse, great stuff. High society girl is also great song by them
but you would probably know more about Danish music that an American would
First and foremost, I haven't been following contemporary commercial dance music in my life! It has never been able to cater for my musical taste. I come from a funk/jazz/soul background and like to see those elements in disco, something that has never been done by my country's artists. It's as simple as that really![]()
Back to the 80s is a catchy piece of dance pop, and a great tribute to the decade, if anyone had to do it Aqua is a perfect choice, and they did a neat job :icon_mrgreen:
