I've never checked the CD and new releases board before, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover a CD came out with great disco I hadn't heard of - Cocktail Disco.

Even better, though, while searching the internet, I discovered that the vinyl version of this album had an alternate mix of Frenesi! Too bad it's not on the CD version. You can find it for download online if you don't want to buy the vinyl version.

I'm listening to it right now, and it's definitely an alternate mix from the master tapes, not a re-edit. The instrumentation gets stripped down, but the arrangement is kind of the same. It's really hard to describe. All I can tell you is if you really love Frenesi from Brazil, you'll cream yourself when you hear this remix, thanks to Dimitri and the Disco Music forum member who originally mentioned this CD compilation!
