I will try and find out about the Uk release..But I liked the movie ..If you like the whole underground music movement of the 70's and 80's mainly the black gay clientele ,and if you like Larry Levan Frankie Knuckles Tee Scott etc You will like it.. I wish there were more music in in though..
Starsky, I checked for it in Belgium yesterday but no luck yet (I believe we're in the same DVD region) but hey, "Thank God It's Friday" still isn't released yet over here :icon_evil:
I'd say its unlikely that "Maestro" would get a UK region release now, probably not a big enough demand for it to make it worth releasing in this region.
You can probably pick-up a multi-region DVD player for next to nothing now days, or see if you can hack the DVD player you already have (as long as your TV is NTSC compatible too) that's the best option.
I heard that many DVD-players can be "converted" into multi-zone by changing the zone code in the settings (USA is 1; Argentina is 4) to the number zero.
With my Philips player it was not so simple, but I did it following some instructions I found in a DVD forum. Now it reads EVERY-TIN dude! :icon_cool:
BTW, I read in IMDB that Maestro comes in TWO DVDs, including some Paradise Garage footage:
