Looking for Deputy of Love remix on CD

I'm looking for the remix (believe it was a Disconet remix) of Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band's "Deputy of Love". If I recall, it was very long - 10 minutes or so.

the 12" version is 8:55

I don't recall disconet remixing it BITD

and all the cd versions that have come out are edited, not the full 12" mix

you can easily find the 12" vinyl on the internet

I have that version, but it's not the one I am looking for. The one I am looking for has the "dee-dee - dee-dee - dee-dee... (in harmony)" part multiple times during the mix.

don't know that version, but disconet did have "deputy of love" as part of their 1979 year end medley, where the part you refer to was overlayed on top of "come on and do it" and leading into "dim all the lights" / "heaven must have sent you".

I have that 1979 Disconet mix and know exactly what you are refering to. I heard the mix that I am looking for again several years ago, but it was on a tape the bartender put on and did not know of its origin.
