    Well Done Lewis (& Kimi)

The finale of the F1 Grand Prix ended in a finale not seen since the Prost/Mansell battle of 1986! Lewis Hamilton's chances of winning the World Championship were lost on lap 7 when an electrical fault casued him to lose 30 seconds putting him 18th position. Despiye his and teams efforts to get back into a meaningful points position it was not to be and as Alonso had an 'off' day. Kimi went on to win in a Ferrari!

We must salute Lewis Hamilton, for a fantastic first season in F1. He should ne immensely proud of his achievements. To win in his first season would have been the icing on the cake!

I smell an F1 political rat!!!

It just seems really odd that things worked out the way they did.

Congrats to Lewis Hamilton...let's just hope he didn't 'bottle it' and will come back even stronger next year. Someone needs to kick the Ferrari stranglehold (that's always assuming they don't nab him).

Re: Well Done Lewis (& Kimi)

Lewis is a supertalent and a future worldchampion but let's face it...even when there's still a slight chance that he could be the worldchampion 2007 after the current investigation on the BMW fuel, we must be serious here.

They should have kicked McLaren-Mercedes out of this year's competition!!!!

The proven industrial espionage has falsified the match between Ferrari and McLaren! They took away their constructor points but they also should have disqualified Alonso and Hamilton because there are signs that at least one of both had the unlawful info too!

So if there is a political rat here, this time it's really Ronald, Dennis that is. If he's a man of honour he should resign!

    Basta!

Update: check out the 2007 Highlights!

They must ALL steal info from each other, every year.
Otherwise, why do all the cars end up looking virtually identical and performing soooo similarly in real terms??
Bernie Ecclestone's the guy who really needs to go, IMO. Even though he's been instrumental in making F1 the world-wide super sport it is today, nowadays he's too often an embarrassment to it and weilds his power too autocratically.

Could it be you really mean Max Mosley, president of the FIA?

Today Alonso stated that he hopes FIA doesn't reconsider the ridiculous appeal brought up by Ron Dennis who has simply screwed up the McLaren Team this year.

He continues: "Ferrari was the best in 2007 and they deserve the victory!"

Alonso will probably return to ING-Renault and as for Hamilton.....why not join "Il Cavallo Rampante", better know as:

The previous Finn to win Mika Häkkinen had more class than Kimi Räikkönen, and definite dress sense too, Mika was a model for Boss.

Kimi's wife Jenni Dahlman-Räikkönen was a model too but nowhere near that caliber. She has now opened a nightclub in Helsinki, admission by invitation only. The place is called Bläk, apparently because it's desired clientele is too thick to be able to write down or memorize the originally intended "Black". All reports claim the place remains all but empty.

Still, Ferrari as an institution has more style than the mclarens etc combined.

Today, Max Mosley admitted that he and other directors of the FIA voted the McLaren Team out of the competition but that the decision was overruled by a majority of boardmembers. So, Ron Dennis may be lucky he was still in and maybe it's better that he drops the case now.

BTW, Hamilton screwed up badly in the last race when he pushed the wrong button on his steering wheel and went off-road!
