He made "Out In The Night" - one of my all time favorites :)

Was he an "one track only" kinda guy or what happened??

Somebody share some light, please.

Serge is from the French Antilles and died some years ago.

He made some background and lead on some zouk music records.

In 1983 he made a one and only album for WEA, "Back to the light" CAT 25-0181-1 (France) with at least 2 track almost as good as "Out in the night"

:cry: RIP Serge Ponsar....it's an injustice that he only had one album because that 1983 album is a winner.....not only "out in the night" but "i want money", "gotta get outside", and "v.i.d.e.o"....just about all the songs are winners! and the sick, slick keyboards and basslines on this album are a dream...mixed and edited by John luongo with mastering by Jose Rodriguez...

oh yeah, I almost forgot about mr. Luongo. Wonder what ever happened to him. He did produce "aniticipation" for Jennie Burton on her "Souvenirs" LP in 86.

That song was later covered by the dazz band (in 1988) and it is still one of my personal favorites. (well, not as good as "Out In The Night" - but still....)

I remember what u like- jenny burton

that was my favorete song for a long time
and I consider i a classic, great song ( the 12 inch)

I have never heard of that song, Midas.
I have both albums with Jennie Burton and it is not on either of them :-?

Another classic from Jennie is, of course: Bad habits - another Allen George & Fred McFarlane Masterpiece 8)

Yes Midas, I have that Jenny Burton track from 1983 'Remember What U Like' written & produced by John Robie. Its very in that Shannon style dont u think?

K-Bee, thought u may be interested to know (or not!) that 'Bad Habits' was covered/sampled on a v.good 'nu-disco' track by ATFC/Onephatdeeva featuring Lisa Millet a couple of years ago.
