Is this a disco classic sample in this song?

Hello everbody!

A friend of mine, also addicted to classic disco tunes, just sent me this song video:
YouTube - Lili Ivanova - Lubovta...

I really love the beginning with the strings. I'm pretty sure that this artist didn't record it itself. It must be from a classic disco song.
Does anybody know if this melody/strings where used before?

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Don't recognise the strings - but the re - created horn line at 3.30 everyone here will know tho !

the horns are from "knock on wood"..of corse...tune has potential...and whoever this singer is woulda done great with real production back in the good ol days. the video itself is god awful though.

Lili's from Bulgaria, and she's 68 years old! :icon_eek:

She had to be from an Eastern European backwater, with little skill in video production, so Bulgaria didn't surprise me in the least. To me, her voice sounds a lot like Lulu! (English singer).
