Looks like it's time for a clue. Hmmm... let's see...
All in one year, this group was "jerked", "plugged", probably got way too much "action"before they were in "style".

In 1980, a 12" was released by a group called Cold Magic titled Love Christmas Love. It clocked in at around 134 bpm's and was put out there by Unidisc on a sub-label. At 9:09, it was still one minute and four seconds shorter than it's "original".
Who can give me that original song and the group? The major difference between the two are the sleigh bells for the holiday version.

Geez Nicky, with those clues I'd have to say it's Erotic Drum Band? As for the song I'm drawing a blank since all I can recall after "Love Disco Style" was "Pop, Pop Shoo Wa."

You're right, Bernie. "Love Christmas Love" by Cold Magic is nothing but "Love Disco Style" with sleigh bells and that slight lyric change. Good for a one-week (holiday) rush. :)Originally Written by Bernie
