The first is "How Long" by Lipps Inc. while the second may be "First Hand Experience In Second Hand Love" by Giorgio Moroder.
They were recorded in the summer of 1982, the DJ was John Ceglia. I'm just in the process of turning them into cds. Here's two of the songs that I'm not sure of:
1) "How Long Has This Been Going On" positive of the title can't remember who did it.
2)"Gypsy Please or maybe Gypsy Love
male vocalist with female and electronic backup
Lyrics:
Gypsy please won't you give me
the secret key of life's mystery
and I said
electronic voice:
must have experience in second hand love
you need first had experience second hand love
male v:
gypsy girl won't you confirm
the flame of life before my eyes
and she said
electronic voice:
first hand experience in second hand love
you need first hand in second hand love
male v:
then she read my hands
then she read my eyes
said I am a man
who must learn to cry
then she took her cross
the paragon of truth
and gazed toward the stars
said I must learn to lose
gypsy girl oh can't you see
that your the one that I really need
she said
Female v:
I really need first hand experience
in second hand love
There are also several instrumentals on this tape which I'll post soon either at my homepage or on the CFNY "spirit of radio" page later.
