I can't figure out why he'd object to his videos being shown there but it apparently doesn't bother him when they're shown on MTV or VH1. I suspect this is an attempt to get attention since it appears his music doesn't get as much exposure as it used to. He DOES have a point about You Tube being careful to filter and remove material that could get them into legal trouble, but LOTS of musicians and artists appreciate the exposure on You Tube, and he didn't seem to mind either up until now. A further contradiction is that twice now he has given away some of his recordings for free, so what exactly does he want? Thoughts?
I'm editing this whole reply because I just got an official confirmation that he's not after the usual vids. Apparently there's a lot of live footage from the current concert series in London on YouTube and he wants those removed because they show songs and versions that are not released yet and (of course) he wants to keep 'em unpublished for now! That's the genuine story folks!
Oh, I almost forgot, I just got this recent pic of the man with my favourite Twinz!
(Hi Maya and Nandy, talk some sense into the BoZZ's mind! And nope, I didn't nick the pic from your page. It's an official 1)
Enjoy and listen to: (::::::|::: NewPowerRadio)

Just got additional info: Prince is definitely not going after his fans but the operation is already going on. He hired the services of Websheriff who is tracking the vids and erasing 'em. He also will attack bootleg sales and illegal merchandising on sites like E-Bay!
