...and I thought you only played classic Disco on your bumper cars. :icon_confused::icon_lol:
What'd you all find on YouTube these days. While browsing the site for Funfair clips I suddenly discover this 1: our Breaker and my dearly beloved Nicole who's on the mike!
Enjoy and just imagine how she sounds when she's mad at me
And this is a short 1 where I am shouting :icon_eek:

My goodness Video! The lighting on the bumper cars attraction are so wonderfully intense! And in the daylight yet!!! :icon_biggrin: Does this attraction turn into a dancefloor after the bumper cars ride closes???It should!
Great shots Johan! Wish I were there having fun.

I want to go on a Hexentanz ride, never seen one anywhere. I've been a bad boy again and must be punished in machines like that, severely, so give me an extra minute and really make my innards churn!
This summer I did get a change to ride on a roller coaster in Japan that only had thin iron bars across your lap, none of those usual bars that fold over your shoulders to keep you in place. As we plunged down vertically from a truly scary height there wasn't one passenger who dared to throw their arms in the air - we all squeezed the bar in total shock, in complete silence, too. The ride went dooooown, shot up, twisted around with grotesque g-force and then took us thru a hole in the wall of a department store building. All we could do was gasp and try to hold on to the bar to save our lives. A hell of a coaster that Thunder Dolphin, deluxe torture.
For the coaster I think you are talking about this beauty!!
Very courageaous of you Jussi!
I'll be happy to let you ride the Hexentanz, as long as you want and FREE!

Yep, that's the one, the first drop felt like eternity. I rode this monster twice in succession, and both times, there were several eldery Japanese ladies and gentlemen in traditional kimono-style outfits there too. What had possessed them to pay and subject themselves to an extremist experience like that? When the ride was over the elaborate laquered hairdos of the ladies were ruined but still they smiled and seemed very happy about it all. - Ah yes, want to do the Hexentanz! I often wonder what it would be like to throw up on rides like that, would it splash on the people below, would an apology be enough or must one pay for the laundry ...?
No, it's dirty work for my staff but ....it happens you know. Now, The Hexentanz really is a family ride, it's not that extreme.
I'll give a première here for a new ride I have bought and that will open next month: the Phoenix Heartbreaker, like the name says it's a ride begging to be visited by Finnish Disco experts :icon_mrgreen: It's aimed at smaller funfairs and can be build up very quickly.
We are testing it at home for the moment (Safety-Engines-Lights)
Here's one in action, property of the Bodet family:
BTW, your remark on the bars of the coaster: that's perfectly normal when a ride doesn't make a looping or swinging movement, don't worry, you were perfectly safe!
