    Andy

BV1 is "ALL MY LOVE" BY LAX (inst. mix)
BV2 I THINK IS SECRET TIES "DANCE YOUR WAY INTO MY HEART"
BV3 IS "BILLY WHO" BY BILLY FRAZIER
BV4 IS "DON'T STOP THE MUSIC" BY STRANGE AFFAIR

THE ROY THODE ONE IS "MY SWEET SUMMER SUITE" BY THE LOVE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA, IT'S THE PERCUSSION INTRO THAT WAS ONLY ON THE PROMO 12" AT THE TIME, BUT IT HAS BEEN RELEASED ON CD AS WELL, ON THE BEST OF THE L.U.O.

don't know the other ones, I hope someone else here can sort you out with them.

a friend of mine, Keefe, has informed me that BV2 is actually "DANCIN'" BY TOD FOSTER, which is an early Bobby Orlando Production on Midland Records 1979. there are 2 different 12" singles of it, one is the original mix and the other is a remixed version. the remixed version has a little better EQ on it, and brings up the synth line more prominently in the mix.

    thanks Keefe!

#5 is --I think- a version of a Big Band song called "Perifidia"...

    Perfidia Dominguez, Leeds

I heard this mix and it's been buggin me as to what the title is...a whole slew of folks recorded this according to AMG...I couldn't think of the title---I knew it was some thing with an "...ia" at the end...Chlamydia??? naw....

    That's my guess...who the artist is, I don't know....

GEMM has several versions on 12"--but doesn't give the years of release...but I did see the name of German bandleader James Last...didn't he do some disco stuff?? Just a guess...cause I don't know his style

Thanks Marky & discokid will see if I can find an mp3 of the John Federico version. I did a quick Google and it was from 1976 which sounds about right listening to it, very Van McCoy sounding I thought

BV6 sounds a hell of alot like People's Choice "You Oughta Be Dancin'"...it's not, but im 98% sure it's gotta be them and from that same LP

It definitely is "Perfidia". It was originally recorded in the 1940's. I believe Xavier Cugat had a version.

No idea who does this version.

This is definitely "Perfidia", my dad had the Glenn Miller version.

Probably not the one in question although I'm sure 'The Copeland Davis Band' had a version in the late 1970's
