I agree, but I suspect the fact that the song and video don't match was probably intentional (and I dare you to say that you DON'T smile at the scene where the older gentleman is cuttin' the rug). And besides, what a slammin' song...I think it's some of Bowie's clearest, strongest and most soulful singing ever. He knew, I'm sure, that with Chic AND Stevie Ray Vaughn in his backing band, he shouldn't hold back. He does a funk-rock song called "Stay" that's just as great. It's on his awesome album "Station to Station".

I didn't smile at the scene where the older gentlemen is cuttin' the rug .. :icon_redface: He's off his barstool, doing a goofy funky chicken right at the romantic part of the song where the dancing couple is supposed to sway through the overly crowded floor to find their own intimate space .... I think I cringed ...... :icon_razz: :icon_lol:
