They were first a John "Monster" Davis produced act with releases in 1975 thru 1979 ...
but here they are again in 1984 with a likable hybrid of sounds ....
(double left click on arrow to connect)
KEEP DANCIN' didn't make Billboard's year end Top 50 in '84 or '85 ... so does anybody remember it getting play ????
listen
I like the thick vocals and the lyrics ....
but here 's something odd in them :
there you are on the floor together
face to face with the one you adore
the music's playin and sounding so right
Let's keep on bumpin' for the rest of the night
Bumpin' ????
when was the last time that word was heard in a disco song ????
Something suspicious there ....:icon_confused: ....

Baby, take me
high upon a hillside
high up where the stallion
meets the sun
Hi,
I remember the up-tempo tune well because it was played so often at discos in my home town in the 1984-1985. I like it although don't know the lyrics' real meanings very well.
According to Joel Whitburn's Billboard Hot Dance/Disco Chart book, the tune was ranked 24th on 5/26/84 at the hightest.
