What exactly do you mean? The easiest way is to use a computer, no "machine" required... aside from your turntable, phono stage, and maybe an adaptor from RCA to 1/8" jacks. You can spend more on a fancy soundcard or firewire interface if you're an audiophile, but there wouldn't be much benefit if you're listening to lossy formats like MP3.
