Wow that’s a good list there, “Satin Soul” I need to dig it out, funny you mentioned about your wife, I just read some article that said that is very common for men in the forties to begin to relive their younger years, I think it is true because I feel like giving up my 9 to 5 and dusting off my turntables and mixer and hitting the club scene again, Hahahah

I hear ya Mixmachine.I'm 53 and as I always say I'm getting to old to care but still get the urge.I've just recently began cataloguing a collection accumulated over the past 30 years. Some 1600 12".1000 Lp,s and countless 7".What a job.Thank god I don't move to often.
Different eyes see different things. Different hearts beat on different strings. But there are times for you and me when all such things agree...Rush

Just found a new local source for disco. I hadn't been there for years, because the last time I was there, they hardly had anything. But I happened to check in yesterday, and found many delights...

Grand Tour - On Such A Winter's Day

    Beautiful Bend

Flower - Heat (I told the the guy at the store that this was a guilty pleasure. He asked if he could put it on -- when he did, he laughed at how bad her singing was!)

    Jo Bisso - Love Somebody

Santa Esmeralda - Don't Be Shy Tonight

Gregg Diamond - Danger (still sealed!)

    Madleen Kane - Cheri

Paris Connection (copy #3 for me)

THP Orchestra - Two Hot For Love! (as above)

Jakki - Sun, Sun, Sun (7" single)

Love Deluxe - Here Comes That Sound Again

The Ritchie Family - All Night All Right

Watsonian Institute - Extra Disco Perception

    USA/European Connection - I'd Like To Get Closer (12")
