From a local paper:

"Next Saturday July 28th, in the Polideportivo Stadium of Mar del Plata, an international contest named World Football Idol will take place.
With the presence of Diego Maradona (...) and the international visit of Gloria Gaynor, the event will be hosted by the ex-goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea, with free admission, since 7PM.
Gaynor, considered one of the divas of disco music of the 70s and 80s, visited our country for the last time in 2006, when she performed in the Gran Rex Theater. Her long career started in the 60s with the group Soul Satisfiers and her first single, 'She'll be sorry' / 'Let me go baby', was released in 1965.
The World Football Idol is a format created by Max Higgins and consists in a soccer competition between young contestants between 15 and 18 years old, with practices and ability tests, to choose a potential world 'fútbol' idol".
