Who recorded Disco Kicks

Does anyone happen to know who recorded the song titled "Disco Kicks?"

I think the Boystown Gang version was actually a cover of something by....was it Original Mass? I just recently saw this info. But, Boystown Gang probably had the hit.

Original Mass it was. It was on Disconet a few years before the Boystown Gang version.

There were two versions of Disco Kicks by The Boystown Gang too. The original mix, released as the flipside to You're The One, and the remix, released on the flipside of Can't Take My Eyes Off You. The remix is only on the 12" though, as I have the 45 too and even though it says Disco Kicks (remix), it isn't.

For my money, I prefer the remix.

The original is on JDC records # JDC 12-10 from '81, running 8:20 and Marky was correct, the group is called The Original Mass.
