I keep forgetting to mention this, but did you know that Ashford & Simpson have a restaurant here in New York City?
Sugar Bar
I ate there some time ago, and Ashford & Simpson were there hosting. The food was very good.
I had been meaning to mention it before, and was walking by it today and wrote a reminder to inform the discomusic.com family.
So if you're visiting NYC, put them on your itinerary.

Do Nick Ashford still have that lions mane of a hairdo?
Disco Funk
When we were in NYC 2 years ago (we stayed in that upper west side area) we stood outside their restaurant & decided not to go in as it looked like some kinda party was going on; I wish I'd gone in now. I always do this: get to a restaurant & decide I want to go somewhere else.:icon_rolleyes: I did it at Cafe Luxembourg too.![]()
...ya gotta beat the street......
