This has nothing to do with the topic...BUT since you mentioned Patrice Rushen....Patrice & George Duke hosted the pledge breaks during KCET's recent airing of the Natalie Cole special airing on PBS this month. I kept staring at Patrice, trying to figure out who she looked like now....finally it came to me...Gary Coleman with braids!!! I kid you not. :roll:

great funky selection, man! You're a connoisseur, no doubt about it. You have included some favorites of mine on your comp, like BILL WITHERS' KISSING MY LOVE (I love this track, great groove), THE DRAMATICS, CURTIS, MANZEL and probably the greatest funk track ever, THE PAYBACK by JAMES BROWN!

Hi Grant. I think I might have put "Holy Ghost" on one of my other "Super Hard Funk Of The 70s" compilations, but then again if I haven't I'll include it on volume 11.

As for "Funkonnection" by T-Connection, haven't got it, wish I did though. I would have looked it up on Audio Galaxy and downloaded it if only the coporate wankers didn't take it down :x . Oh well, I'll have to save up some money and search for the record on EBAY.
