I know Georgey can be bitchy for the sake of it but I completely agree with his views on religion & gay marriage (& Madonna come to think about it - she sees herself as some modern messiah); why should we copy strights when they get it wrong all the time?!

Interesting. I have a lot of time for George. He's never followed the conventional and actually very easy "Gay' path like so many have and do. He's funny and witty instead of just loud. As for Madonna...seeing as queens have a tendency to put someone with very limited talent up there in the first place, I think we know who to blame.. you can add the totally talentless Kylie Minogowe to that list too ! I just never got either of these two, but to each their own. I've never quite understood the reasoning for the need for that kind of mainstream acceptance while pleading for special treament at the same time.

But its a shame Sandra you have to use the word 'straights' almost as if it's a term of abuse. Replace it with the word 'gays' in the same context and you'd have shouts of bigot. It works both ways.

I don't dislike some of their early records but I do agree with you Simon that gays do tend to faver style over content too often.:icon_confused:

I do take your point Simey but straight people weren't generally the opressed, punished or ridiculed group in society for centuries. I know I'm bitter & should let it go but I'm an Aries!
