Bonnie Tyler's "It's A Heartache" was a pop/ soft rock record-- a big hit (#3) in the US in 1978. Her rapsy voice was often referrred to as "Rod Stewartish." She dabbled in ""disco"--did a version of "Married Men" that Bette Midler had a "semi-hit" with and later, did "Holding Out For A Hero" from the movie "Footloose" in the mid-80s....
