The song is from the musical "Hair".
This version is off the Disco Spectacular lp, which is here in the discomusic.com archives:

The title is obviously “Where Do I Go”, but the Artist is unknown to me.

Thank you, that’s a great starting point!
I can’t seem to find any name association with the song.
Do you have any idea if the singer is renowned of if he is an anonymous part of the choir?

The lp does not give a breakdown of vocals. Only a breakdown of the band(The Brothers).
However,
The New York Community Choir had another hit: Express Yourself.

In the cd compialtion Big 12 Inches "Groovin' You" (part of a 3-cd series Big 12 Inches)
Amazon.com: Big 12 Inches: Groovin' You: Music: Various Artists,Vicki Sue Robinson,The Main Ingredient,Greg Phillinganes,Pointer Sisters,New Community Choir,Harvey Mason,Grey & Hanks,Black Box,Black Ivory
the liner notes read that NYCC is "led vocally by Elizabeth Gamble, and conceptually by the brilliant singer and arranger Benny Diggs, who would later form Revelation."
Revelation is also part of the Disco Spectacular lp.
Therefore, I am assuming, that Where Do I Go is sung by Revelation(Benny Diggs) and backed by New York Community Choir.

Where in Canada do you reside? Love the handle it's a little offbeat. When I think of Canadiantire I get images of tools and lumber not disco balls.
You got to bone it like you own it
I am a “Montrealer”,
I pass in front of the UNIDISC head office everyday I go to work.
As far as my nickname, you are not exactly there.
It rather refers to the fat tire that is around my waist, witch is typically “Canadian”.
I also have to confess that I’ve worked at that hardware chain (Canadian tire) many years ago…
I like concept ideas.
