I'm glad Thommy mentioned Lary's new website. It's pretty!! Besides the track listings, be sure to check out the interviews and photos. Also, I can't stress that his subscription service is to raise funds for charities! :icon_razz:
I just signed up for the disco edit CD club that Lary Sanders has started
this month. The website is Morning Star Melody and it is a monthly
subscription service.Every month,Lary will send out 2 CD's of his own edit's
of classic disco going back to 1973 for a donation that benefits St Jude
Childrens Hospital.Check out the track listing on the website and you will see
that these are a mix of the known and the unknown.I already have several
CD's(recieved from Medium Rare Records)and these edits are tasteful and enhance and extend the original mix.Check it out!

I too have recently subscribed to this series and I must say - the edits are very impressive and very faithful to the original.
I'm glad Lary has taken the time to document his mixes from this era.
I was also lucky to meet Lary in person a couple of times and I must say it was an honour to meet him and share the stories and knowledge he had from the era.
Both inspiring and rewarding and he is now a dear friend.
:)
If you don't have the series and love the music of this era and the art of T Dance programming, i suggest you get in touch Lary and buyt the whole set and become a pool member, its well worth it.
