As the topic says, it's been sampled and mixed in many, many dance songs in the 80's up to now, some guy yelling out "HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!" and true DJ's know about this, so where did it come from? (title/artist if possible) Thx in advance!
I wonder if it's Peoples Choice on PIR? :icon_question:
I know that song, that's not even close.
It's just those four words I'm looking for. In some mixes you can hear him yelling it out. I can't think of any songs off my dome where I've heard it from but believe me, lots of clubbers know it well...
((((((HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!))))))
I know Todd Terry used it in one of his then 'unreleased' projects. Say it out loud to yourself and think about it, I don't have a sound sample, sorry.
Sorry it's not even close !
I think a sound sample might help then.
Didn't Public Enemy also feature that line in one of their songs? It goes:
"Here we go again... Here the drummer get wicked..." Or something to that effect.

Maybe: Stakka Bo - "Here We Go", but it's 90's song.
If it was made in the 90's it couldn't be that at all. However, the song you mentioned, I never heard it before but it might have that phrase thrown in it.
You had to have heard it mostly in the 80's. It's kinda like when you hear the 'HEY YOU!' phrase from the 'One Step Beyond' track by Madness. Same routine with this as well. Just imagine being in a club dancing to loud music and suddenly the DJ drops it in the mix 'HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!' You gotta keep yelling it to yourself and MAYBE it'll come back to you. :icon_rolleyes:
WOW! It's been over a week I haven't come back here and STILL, no one has an inkling what that phrase is! Okay, I'm gonna have to do some soul searching for the sample because I don't have it, YET! LOL
Believe me when I tell you, this was a big deal! DJ's all over the world have used it in their mixes, you can find it in countless vinyl tracks. I know it's a difficult topic to fathom but I also know that someone out there knows what I'm talking about. Maybe if you remember the Latin Rascals, then you would know they used it in sessions a WHOLE lot! Sometimes it echos out so unexpectedly while every dancer on the floor is going "WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Hope that helps.

Sounds like a winner, I'll do a Google search and find out.![]()
